1.This reminds me sort of a communist government
2.Extreme sports seem to be highly debated as acceptable.
3.I like how we are discovering everything as the main character is.
4.Montag works for the government then he should have known all these things.
5.It is nice to hear that there are people who rebel against their way of life but I don't think Montag disagrees with them.
4
1.What do people do all day?
2.What do they do because almost everything will have a side that's against it?
3.Was Montag informed because he was a fireman or was it public information?
4.Who were the people that knew all of these things?
3

1.I don't agree with these motives because history explains what mad your country what it is now.
2.We read Uncle Tom's cabin in my history class.
3.Not everyone will agree with absolutely everything that is happening or with peoples decisions.
4.I think that there would still be two sides to a question.
5.I don't know why they don't speak of war.

1. Do they not have funerals?
2.How were the families supposed to grieve if 5 minutes after their loved ones death?
3.Why do they not want controversial books if these books help people see what happened and the dangers of what they are doing?
4.Does this tie into the fact that they didn't like people knowing about history?

-Just because the other type of firemen didn't have a purpose there is no need to start burning books.
-I wonder were Beatty learned all this information
-I am surprised beatty was not burned by the ashes he place in his palm
-I wonder how old Beatty was.-I also wonder if Beatty was around when firefighters were still around.
4
-were the firefighters that worked before the fire
-proofing still working as firemen?
-Are the houses completely flame retardant?
-Why are there fireworks?

-A government job shouldn't be doing the medias work.
-This is a very naive place they lived in.
-Montag should have asked why he was doing what he was doing from the beginning.
-I wonder if his wife called Beatty to come over because Montag was asking so many questions.
-Books are not the problem you need smart people to run society.
4
-why does his wife know so much more than him?
-Why are they burning books if there was no real censorship?
-Why do they want people to be jocks and not sophisticated?
-this part of the book completely lost me.
3
Trade- journals kept the act or process of buying, selling, or exchanging commodities, at either wholesale or retail, within a country or between countries

-At least sports is still prevalent in this novel
-I think that Montag is a firm disbeliever in organization.
-It seems as though Montag is beginning to doubt everything.
-I don't think that their mairrage will last for too much longer.
-When Montag began questioning things his wife seems as though she doesn't want to be around him.
4
-Are these sports games played the same way as now?
-Did he say that he liked all the sports so that she would leave him alone?
-What does parlour aunts and uncles mean?
-Why doesn't he just find a new job?
3
Tides-A specific occurrence of such a variation
Unitarians-A monotheist who is not a Christian
Tapioca-a food substance prepared from cassava in granular, flake, pellet (pearl tapioca), or flour form, used in puddings, as a thickener, etc.

In these pages the things between Montag and his wife seem to be getting worse as he begins to criticize everything that goes on around them.

-I like the line "well this fire will last me all my life".
-Montag is finally starting to question the society he lives in.
-his wife is so confrontational but backs away or gives up when Montag begins to question her beliefs.
-This is probably the first time that Montag did not smile.
-Montag really does not want to work.
4
-When he says stitched does he mean tattooed?
-If it was Capt. Beatty wouldn't they have seen him before?
-What is wrong with being sick?
-Are any of the other men as hurt as Montag is about the old lady?

The mopable rug is a cool invention.
-His wife seems to not to listen to him at all.
-He seems to take an argumentative tone with his wife for almost everything.
-He has too much pride to let his boss hear him as he was sick.
-His wife has no care for other people.
4
-Are there any new sports created for this time?
-Is spitting something extremely intolerable?
-Wouldn't all the burning mess up the o-zone?
-Why did they burn the woman?
3
parlour-Chiefly British.

-I think that Montag's conscious comes back to eat away at him because he knows that what he is doing is wrong.
-Montag keeps a journal of everything that happens and has it in kind of a poem form.
-I think that writing is what calms down Montag's self conscious thoughts.
-This book uses a lot of things to help you infer what will happen next. An example of this is when Montag's smile disappears as he is hearing the noise.
-Who is this little girl?
4
-What is a ventilator grille?
-What else other than books are not allowed?
-Is Montag a pscitsophreanic?
-What do they do health wise at this time?
3
ventilator-a contrivance or opening for replacing foul or stagnant air with fresh air.
-babbling-the random production of meaningless vocal sounds characteristic of infants after about the sixth week.
-marionette-a puppet manipulated from above by strings attached to its jointed limbs.

In these pages Montag is showing his poetic skills and the reader is able to see the world through his eyes.

-This story takes place in the future
-In their time houses are completely fireproof.
-This is probably because the firemen are always setting things on fire and if the houses caught on fire then they would have no where to live so the people had to adapt to the way of life.
-It seems like the talk of Montag's job comes up a lot.
-Montag and his wife seem to have an awkward relationship.
4
-Is it not allowed to be a pedestrian?
-Why aren't there people who oppose this way of life?
-What happened to historians during this period of time?
-Is this taking place in America?
1
In these pages we start to see more of his relationship with his wife and we begin to see more things proving that this is in the future and most of all we begin to see how life is in this period of time.

-These people enjoy doing what they do
-This writer uses good symbolism to create an image.
-This character seems very self interested.
-Montag seems to doubt himself a lot.
-I wonder if his wife supports his job.
4
-why do they not want to preserve the past?
-Does he truly enjoy what he is doing?
-Is he someone special in the fire house?
-is this the future?
