-This is probably because the firemen are always setting things on fire and if the houses caught on fire then they would have no where to live so the people had to adapt to the way of life.
-It seems like the talk of Montag's job comes up a lot.
-Montag and his wife seem to have an awkward relationship.

In these pages we start to see more of his relationship with his wife and we begin to see more things proving that this is in the future and most of all we begin to see how life is in this period of time.
